It’s not just about supporting you through the adoption assessment and the key steps before a child comes into your family; it’s about supporting you right through your adoption journey.

We know that the kind of support you and your family need or want will change over time; it will also vary family to family.

At Together4Children we work with you to identify the support that your family needs.

We know that the most effective support is to work with parents on strategies and approaches that are evidenced to support children’s development and emotional wellbeing.

We hope to provide all our adoptive families the right help, at the right level, at the right time.

Our specialist support offer

If you need specialist therapeutic support, a member of our Support Team will work with you to undertake an adoption support assessment of need. The funding for specialist interventions can sometimes  be applied for through the Government’s Adoption Support Fund (ASF) and we will be able to assist and support you through this process should you need it. At the time of writing, the future of this fund was under national review, so please contact your support team to discuss this in more detail.
